Robert A. Holland, 85, of Daniels St. died Sunday, October 9th at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Lucie (Tetreault) Holland. They had been married just shy of 60 years. Born in Providence, a son of the late Hebert Holland and Cordelia (Therrien) Padula.
Robert joined the Rhode Island Army Reserve and also volunteered for the Central Falls civil service. Robert had been employed at United Products and Colfax both in Providence until retirement. He was a former member of the Lincoln council of the Knights of Columbus #4005, and a teamsters of the local #251. Robert loved hunting, fishing, working on cars and fixing up houses. He loved to give a helping hand where he could and loved spending time with his family.
Besides his wife he is survived his daughters; Anne-Marie Atkins of Pawtucket, Gail A. Barcelos and her fiance Kevin Jaskolka of New Bedford, MA, a son Robert E Holland and wife Judith Holland of Pawtucket; 4 grandchildren Stephen, Rachel, Alyssa, and Mark; 3 great-grandchildren Joel Jr., Alaina, and Jaylen; 5 siblings Joseph Holland, Grace Corsi, Dorothy Fontaine, Patricia Cunningham and John Padula; along with many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, October 14th from 4:00pm - 7:00pm at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin on Saturday, October 15th DIRECTLY at Holy Family Parish, 195 Walcott St. Pawtucket at 10:00am. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.
